A robot voice made with text-to-speech and voicechanger. Io. Sounds a bit like doctor who's cybermen (however, their voices were not made using text to speech back in the 60s/70s - they were made using an electrolarynx or vocoder.

This is the sound of the broken fan at the bathroom in my friends house. It sounds a lot like a cricket, but i can assure you it’s a machine- once again this was straight off my phone so sorry if the quality is pretty bad. I hope this can still be of use to you. You don’t need permission but i would like to know if anyone does use it, just for the sake of curiousity :).

A few years ago, while experimenting with the newly release "gross beat" effect plugin, i stumbled over a possible way the "transform" up and "transform" down sounds were designed/made in the mid 80's --the chief mechanic is i believe a "spin" down with a turntable for starters. . . Here is "up".

The recorded voice from an automated carwash announcing that an attempt to read the credit card has been unsuccessful. Again. And again. Must be a recording as the voice sounds more southern (united states) than digitally generated. Voice offers suggestions for the successful purchase of the carwash vend.

Basically a spaceship hyperdrive/warp drive engine or whatever. Includes spin-up, engine drone, and spin-down. Feel free to loop/extend the engine drone portion for as long as needed (it's completely loopable). I didn't create originally all of the bits of this, all i can say is that some of them were created by our very own frresound. Com member unfa (http://www. Freesound. Org/people/unfa/). I took these, and combined them with some sounds i made in audacity, and made what you have here.

Made this in bitwig, i used 17 different layers to make this. A kick drum is added before the gunshot to add punch. Sub bass is synthesized for the deep lowend, 30-50hz. All layers were selected for certain frequencies using eq and then processed together with multiband compression. Shell sounds, mechanical noises were added for more depth. Using automation, the pitch, decay, and phase of every single layer used other than the subbass, morph to give life to the sound loop, and not sound robotic. Even though it "might" sound real, its an illusion of sounds being played from a midi clip. Enjoy.

This sound effect is played when the metal steel pinball hits the all three phobia drop targets (reskinned from space drop targets) and you hear this "cock-a-doodle-dooooooooooo!" sound effect. This sound effect can be heard anytime when you hit all three for field multiplier drop targets. Feel free to use this in your pinball game, and one more thing! don't forget to add left and right flippers, plus add left and right rebounds!.

Made in ableton live this time, it is a multilayered loop consisting of recordings of an ak47, a 30 caliber 1918, and an m60 machine gun to make a rediculous powerful sound. A very short clicky kick drum with the high end reduced is added before the initial gunshot to make it punch more, otherwise it would sound weaker. There are two mechanical bolt sounds, one covering the upper mid range, and the other covering the extreme highs. Shell ejections and two reverb tails were mixed in at the end with some simple automated panning to make it move around the stereo field. The tempo slowly decreases to simulate barrel heating. Lots of processing. The layers were eq'ed, then ran into a software amp that is gently distorting the low and mid range. Then smashed together with ott multiband upward/downward compression to bring out the details. A maximizer was used to bring up the loudness some. Enjoy.

Sounds of an old hard disk drive from 2005 (hitachi). You hear starting of the spinning noise and the heads rumbling when data is read and written. I started a short defragmenting to make the disk noisy. Recorded with a roland r-05.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. This is what the result sounds like. (well in this uploaded version i removed the ripped spoken quotes from terminator because they were not from this website here :p). I found two melodies in gis_sweden's excellent "you deserve it - friday randomness ii"http://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/362508/. And quantized them into a 92 bpm 4/4 thing. Each melody is presented panned, with and without a beat, then simultaneously. It's sort of an accidental counterpoint. I also messed up his nice analog sound into some harsh digital junk. There's a lot of high frequency energy here so watch it, and apologies to mr. Fletcher, mr. Munson and their daughter, curve.

Assymetric ticking noise. Sounds like the ticking of an analogue counter. A single clock tick was placed on two seperate tracks in order to control the time interval between ticks. One of the tracks was pitch shifted to create the sound of two, slightly different ticks. Both tracks pass through a tight chorus filter and a delay tap to recreate a slight sense of springiness and rattle as the "counter wheels" tick over. Created in flstudio with one audio clip, fruitydelay2, fruity fastdist, fruity parametric eq 2, fruity chorus and equo.

A recording of my mini-fridge that i split into two components - the hum (this) and the evaporator thing that makes all the drippy sounds. I separated them so people can change the volume of each element, since i noticed with my fridge that you can only really hear the hum if you're really close, but hear the drippy sounds from quite a distance away, even if they're really quiet. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro, used rx7 to separate the elements. As always, i've got the un-modified loop in my "raw recordings" pack.

This is a very lowfi recording of a xerox workcentre 7345 actually performing a copy of a single page. Includes a button beep at the start, fan noise, servo motor sounds, paper sorter moving sounds and lots of other mechanics being moved around. You really get an idea how complicated these modern machines are. . :). The bitrate is only 13 kbit/s and the resulting audio quality not very good, but the file size is really small. Maybe audio level needs normalizing, though.

Something i did for a show called victors crypt. It's basically some strings and sounds in very random order creating a spooky vibe. No melodies or such, just a freaky atmosphere. It might be great for something strange and eerie. Maybe something sci-fi or anything a bit strange. Hope you like it and make a use out of it. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. convoy through space and time is a short piece of music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I feels a bit "spacey" sci-fi-sish i think. And has the feeling of a journey i think. Made it with a futuristic bass-sound along with a nclassic p-bass. Blended drum-machine with sampled drums and added melodies with a kind of retro synth sounds. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, suspence, sci-fi, futuristic, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel! if you wanna use it in your music and gonna release it, ask me first. Don't wanna see my music copyrighted by someone else of course. Be cool watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Released in 1989, the ensoniq vfx synthesizer was ensoniq's early take on wavetables, called transwaves in ensoniqs' perlance. The machine was a digital six oscillator hybrid rompler and additive with several of the waveforms being wavetables. Modulation settings allowed you to scan thru the waveforms for evolving sounds such as this pad. The vfx-sd was much the same synthesizer, but added a sequencer.

A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.
